The Unending line of Research : My exploratory analysis

My plans for the next 5 yrs have seen an unexpected change when i met prof.Tiwari , who had a strong element of motivation , the enthusiastic nature , and the research philosophical discussions (put out in common terms and language) had an upsurge on my thoughts . I have indeed , to a radical extent decided to pursue research atleast for the next 4-5 yrs. I used to think on boundaries and was bemusingly confused of what to do next ...I bet many people here , batchmates and juniors should have asked themselves .."WHAT NEXT ??" ..Once i set foot in research , i broke the chain of confusion. Research as it appears to me is an addictive element makes you crazy on subjects of "real" interests. You will be absorbed completely , and the rigorous hard work that one invests is a result of the undying thirst for solving complex matters ...the feel that future is in our hands ...discovering something ..inventing new methodologies ...helping the mankind ...and after all the afore-mentioned reasons ...there is this thing of prominence ...maturity involved. For someone , it may be just publishing articles and for others its LIFE. These are infact not new things ..evryone knows what happens with research . When it gets to publishing articles , there are again numerous ways ...objective of each and every articles is manifold in terms of the real "profit" gained by authors. Since its advent , the scenario kept on changing ...an upsurge in the number of journals ..articles ...1000's and 1000's of them ...but how many are really useful ??..a question never thought of ...there are certain assumptions before an article is published ...that "if" a company uses this technology ...."if" it have some objectives in mind..."if" it have some constraints ...like this with so many "if" 's , the utilization of a single article is obvious ... I am not criticizing the way articles are accepted ...but i only hope that real publicatiosn should be of high use in the industrial sector ...I am still a rookie in research ... these are just my opinions and am jus hoping for a better contibution ... :)
