COLA FIRMS--LOOSING THE GRAPPLE..
The re-eruption of pesticide scam..a very recent upsurge due to a fiesty woman by name Sunita Narain,Diro of CSE returned back to her so-called "limelight"..after three years complaining about non-permissable usage of chemicals or "pesti's" in the cola drinks. Over the last many years ,if we look back, people have got accustomed themselves or rather became comfortable with soft drinks.Suddenly out of a billion population ,if one has objection , i seriously hunch that how many people out of all the billion population are going to change their regualr habit of consuming these soft drin My initial doubt is that , is this a futile chase leading to nowhere?? Later ,after me going through some articles and editorials recently then i came to a slight confirmation about the issue. This is infact one of many issues concerning seamy side of Coca-cola India's affairs. Many cola companies face this problem of attrition, and this exodus resulted in sinking of sales and crumbling image.
Of all the cola wars ,this may be the only one where the two greatest rivals ,Coke and Pepsi, are on the same side. The surprising fact is that both are lossing so far on this issue. This issue has infact shakened the political overtones and the biased opinions or bans that are being imposed on these firms in their own respactive area or states. The other side of the coin is that it leads to a very bad impact on foreign direct investment inflows, so finally degrading one major aspect of india's economy. So now my question is that should government support this or oppose this?? Both will lead to trouble one for economic purposes and the other ofcourse challenging its own stand or power.
Finally i say that it is the people who have to decide on this issue...weather to drink it or not.In my state some of the local television channels flaking the colas and supporting coconuts. At the same time or the very next instant an ad will prop up on the screen containing aamir for a coke ad...phew,i never understood these kinda channels' mentality...By the way dude its upto u now..and as of me i didn't stop drinking as iam doin it for so many yrs...its like am addicted u can say!!!

Once a while when we come across newspaper headlines blaming pakistan for the Mumbai 11/7 serial blasts.,a thought might occur as to weather what is the cause
behind all these incidents.whats the gruelling factor or reason that might be leading to such tragic incidents which resulted in loss of many innocent lives.
In an interview (Frontline) with the president of pakistan, General pervez musharraf replied to the question raised regarding this balme on the country, with much of spontaneity and candidly gave a very clean reply. After reading that i myself applied little thought to the whole process. He simply said that it is the sheer lack of intelligence or it is the trouble that is being created between the two intelligence groups and that the situation is pitiable.Lack of trust between the two countries further increases the chance of vitiating the atmosphere by many freelance terrorists. One should have confidence in each other's forces and trust in many applications.Infact it may lead to better situations.I humbly praise the general for his exposition showed entirely during the interview. He was cautious but devoi of guile and pettiness. All over the interview lot of respect was shown by him to many indian leaders. He showed deep and sincere commitment to the peace process and to resolve the kashmir issues.
After the failure of discussions at Agra during the period of july 2001, He spoke about the progress that had been done after the summit but outrighteosly pointed that it's the failure has yielded at that point due to and only due to the political scenario and suspected the then home minister for all his humiliation. In the past many of the summits that occured were successful infact.
Nothing will happen if both the countries treat each other with sovereign equality.
Many discussions can be held in this angle.Even the lagging issue of kashmir can be solved if peace process goes smoothly. The genral suggested gradual demilitarisation in parts of kashmir in the initial phase and extending it to whole kashmir ,further leading to undefining Line of Control(LoC),thereby providing maximum autonomy to the people of kashmir. This is one major highlight of the interview. There had been many discussions regarding joint control and joint management of kashmir , few points about institutional arrangements.Overall this is one of very impressive interview that i've read till now.

Lemme try giving a vivid image of the very recent movie i've seen..
Its been entitled OMKARA.Itz an adaptation of shakespeare's OTHELLO.
A much hyped movie an containing mammoth starcast..as its the case wid all the multi-starrers
A movie which created the balance between entertainment of a proper commercial edge and the realistic edge.Vishal bhardwaj naunces the whole drama in in Indian mileu...a rajasthani backdrop
including the sets and the language .The dialogue delivery is a clean example for that. The screenplay have become a paradigm for a commercial western scripted indian film. The basic plot is based on suspicion and jealousy.
The dramatical sequence goes briefly like this.
Omkara or Omi [Ajay Devgan] is a gifted chieftain who heads a gang of outlaws, which include the crafty Langda Tyagi [Saif Ali Khan] and the dynamic Kesu [Vivek Oberoi] amongst his chief cohorts. The story begins when Omi appoints Kesu and not Langda as his chief lieutenant.Langda is raged with the fact he has been envied and his pride was slighted, makes an implicit plan to falsify Kesu[oberoi].Langda poisones Omi's mind with the tragic plan of linking an illicit affair with Dolly[kareena] with the unwilling help of his wife[..oops sorry don rem the name..but the actor is Konkana Sen sharma]..an one of his associates.Langda's plan takes shape, finally resulting in the death of kareena..as well as breaking the relationship between vivek oberoi and bipasha. When Omi comin to know abt the whole background malice plan of Langda..he kills himself..while konkana sen sharma kills her own husband[saif]...an gives up her life after that. The climax became very heart-touching and ended up in dark tragedy.
The films bore the brunt of facts that it used very offensive and objectionable 'gaalis'..apart from that the film is a major highlight to the field of indian cinema.A must watch i can say..
keep viewing my blog for more reviews and discussions...my personal stuff as well as on general issues.Thnxz for showing ur patience
